S.T. Dupont and the Paris Opera unveil a new limited-edition collection: Phantom of the Paris Opera. In Paris, beneath the gilded splendour of the Palais Garnier, when the murmur of the audience fades and the curtain falls, another story begins; invisible, yet enduring. The story of the Phantom, born from the pen of Gaston Leroux. Neither entirely monster nor entirely man, he makes this place of light his kingdom of shadows. His musical genius is matched only by his solitude and by an absolute, impossible love for Christine, a young Opera singer who becomes his obsession. It is this profoundly human tension that S.T. Dupont chooses to explore, turning its creations into the very stage of the story. Through Phantom of the Paris Opera, lighters, writing instruments and accessories become scenes where the symbols of the tale emerge: from the mask concealing a hidden identity to the box inhabited by an invisible presence, and the rose, trace of a tragic love, all subtly suggested through materials and craftsmanship. Inspired by the Phantom's threat made real, by the iconic chandelier crashing down upon the audience, the “Last Gleam” line captures the instant of rupture when tension becomes visible and the performance turns to drama. Golden finishes catch the light, evoking the scattering fragments of the chandelier, while black and red lacquer plays with contrasts and motifs: chandelier and musical notes. The mask remains, treated graphically like an enduring signature. Twiggy in black and red lacquer, decorated with the Paris Opera chandelier and the Phantom's white mask, as well as the Paris Opera logo. Gold and black finishes. Equipped with a blue torch flame.
