THE WRITING INSTRUMENT
This writing instrument pays tribute to the Sun King through exceptional fine jewellery craftsmanship. The body of the pen features a deep blue lacquer, adorned with yellow gold-plated motifs inspired by the gardens of the Château de Versailles. The cap brings together prestigious solid gold elements, including a medallion bearing the effigy of Apollo and pavé-set fleurs-de-lis. The piece is enhanced by diamond setting and three sapphires at its summit. Combining precious metals and gemstones, this pen is accompanied by a dedicated base engraved with the S.T. Dupont signature, highlighting its exclusive character.
THE LIGNE 2 LIGHTER
The Louis XIV Ligne 2 lighter features a complex structure in yellow gold plating, dressed in a blue lacquer that highlights motifs inspired by the gardens of Versailles. Both sides display major symbolic elements: a central medallion featuring the effigy of Apollo surrounded by diamonds, and stainless-steel mirrors framed with gemstones. From a technical perspective, it is equipped with an adjustable double soft flame ignition system, operated by the signature “24 Lignes” mechanism. Raised fleurs-de-lis complete this haute manufacture design, delivered with a matching base engraved with the name of the Maison S.T. Dupont.
