An exceptional anniversary collection
On the occasion of the 60th anniversary of Cohiba, a brand of Habanos and prestigious cigars, S.T. Dupont unveils two series of limited editions celebrating the meeting of these two Houses, symbols of exceptional craftsmanship, sophistication, and a transcendent heritage made of majesty and refinement.
This anniversary collection seals and enhances the link between Cohiba and S.T. Dupont, an emblematic House of French know-how and the relentless pursuit of excellence and mastery.
The Origins
The unique character of Cohiba draws its roots from the ancestral traditions of Cuban tobacco. In 1492, when Christopher Columbus landed on the coasts of Cuba, he discovered that the indigenous communities rolled and smoked leaves called "cohiba" as part of their sacred rituals.
Centuries later, in 1966, this heritage inspired the name of a brand destined to become a universal symbol of distinction and rarity.
Born in absolute secrecy, Cohiba was exclusive even before it had a name. Reserved for heads of state and visiting diplomats in Cuba, it maintains a discretion that nurtures its prestige and fuels the desire of Habanos enthusiasts around the world. Officially presented internationally in 1982, it then began a trajectory of success and exclusivity that continues to this day.
On the other side of the Atlantic, S.T. Dupont has been shaping the excellence of French luxury since 1872. Each creation, from the lighter to the ashtray, is the result of a unique artisanal know-how perfected over more than 150 years.
