Initial by S.T. Dupont: Everyday Elegance Reinvented
La Maison S.T. Dupont unveils a new expression of its craftsmanship by reinventing one of its iconic writing instruments. More than a mere change of name, the transition from D-Initial to Initial reflects a subtle yet profound evolution: one of contemporary luxury: essential, fluid, and designed for everyday gestures.
Elegance in the service of style
The Initial pen is rooted in the heritage of the Maison while embracing a confident modernity. Its lines are refined, gaining in fluidity and dynamism, offering a sleek silhouette without compromising balance. Available in fountain pen, rollerball or ballpoint versions, Initial meets the expectations of today’s aesthetes in search of a writing companion that is as functional as it is beautiful. Designed for both women and men, Initial adapts to today’s uses: its cap, now able to be placed on the end of the pen, makes writing more natural and enjoyable. More than a tool, Initial becomes a breath of calm in a fast-paced world — a signature expressed with poise and elegance. Its redesigned form is complemented by new finishes, such as matte black and white gold, which join the emblematic palette: black chrome, navy chrome, black gold and polished chrome. Ever true to its tradition, the Maison adorns the pen’s body with its legendary lacquer, a signature of exceptional craftsmanship. The new “Sword” clip, already present in the Line D Eternity and Liberté collections, replaces a more classic design to lend the object a bolder character. The nib, crafted in stainless steel and engraved with a delicate “wings” motif, embodies the artisanal excellence dear to S.T. Dupont. Available in three finishes: gold, chrome and black, it adds the perfect final touch to this precious detail.
